What i though would be a relaxing day turned out to be a wasted day instead.

Alrite, i went to work in the morning as usual, however I took a half day off to do some personal stuffs.

One of the things I did was Facial. My last facial was like 5 years ago lor becuz doing facials in Singapore is SUPER EX.. i never can afford it. Shape Run had a promo for their runners who signed up this year. It cost only $28.00 thus I tot no harm go for it. To my dismay, it turned out to be an unpleasant experience. I never had the urge to want to blog about an unhappy experience with an established brand. I vowed that I have to blog this no matter how late it is.

I smsed Citispa with my promo code and some girl called me back after 1 week plus to confirm on my appointment. Its ok becuz it IS afterall only SGD28!! I dun expect super good service, but at least im still a paying customer. Anyway, I was prepared that they would as me to top up to get a "better" facial. It is afterall a type of "sales strategy" to increase sales figures.
When i arrived, i was greeted with lotsa warmth and invited to take a seat plus a hot cup of ginger tea. I felt so important. Afterwhich I was led into a room and i was asked to change into something more comfortable (which usually is the case). Then in came this sweet lady (S), she intro herself to me and also (expected) say that i have to get a "better" facial. It started out with only a SGD88 top up for a "Magic Hand" treatment. Not as if after doing that I get flawless complexion so i hesitated. Then after that, the manager (Pregnant Woman) came in and was "checking out" my condition and yes i admit i do not have the best complexion around and started recommending me other facials.
They were pretty pushy about it and being the *ahem* nice me. I was ok cuz i have not pampered myself with facials for 5 years, just go for it. I had a feeling if i dun go for it, probably they may do more harm to my face by applying some cheapo products on me. Their actions were quick, the lady who attended to me used the "Magic Hand" on me. It was supposed to help ease the lymph points which i also did not understand. Another function was to prevent sagging skin. Dammit! im having saggin skin!!! Lol... Another thing that i dislike facials is that my face gets super swollen after each session and i hate that.

After a 10 mins or less of the vibrating hands, S started to ask me if i wanted to take package so that i can "maintain" my complexion and it cost like SGD888 (wad a lucky no) and can be paid by instalments. Bloody hell SGD888 is RM1600++. Its one family's allowance in Msia for 2-3 months lor! So the lady kinda know that im not interested in the package so she stopped being pushy and started the extraction stage. When i went to a good and sincere facial place few years back, they really took the time to remove all my blackheads and stuffs that can easily take up more than 1 hour. Here, i was done like in 15 mins flat for the extraction. I even dropped a remark saying that "Wa, usually extraction takes 1 hours for me, but now its only 15mins, my complexion is gettin better!" *EXCLAMATION MARK* After this, i kinda felt that the sincerity is not there anymore when learnt that I would not get a package from them.

Although S stopped pushing the package, she did "accidentally" forgot to do the last step of removing my oil glands from my face, i reminded her just in case I get short changed. Fair enough, I got wad i was told I was getting and after which got changed. Wanted to pay and leave asap, i stepped out the counter to make payment. Pregnant Manager again started to push the SGD888 package to me. However, i insisted that I do not have the budget to take up that package but she kept on going and going. Even to the extent of asking me to take 5 sessions instead of 10. Its also a $293.00 per month for goodness sake! Money dont grow on trees!
I made a strong stand nicely and I was insane, i was still smiling at them. IMMEDIATELY, the pregnant manager changed to a f***king attitude. She was like fine fine fine, then you juz pay SDG168+SGD28+7%GST which amount to SGS210! She started to use more force to press on the calculator she was using that was when i knew she was pissed. My smile disappeared and i also put up a "Black Face" (Naturally since im tanned). I demanded an explanation that i was told the SGD28 was supposed to be in the SGD168 and not charged seperately. After a short hassle, i was thinking to myself, i will never step into CITISPA ever again. Issued me a receipt as if i wasnt a paying customer. She was throwing a slight tantrum. Now what you hear about not wanting to agitate a pregnant lady is true. She was so close to not even wanting to say a THANK YOU when i left but after much hesitation, she murmured a thank you after i turn away to leave that horrific place. I juz walked away feeling sorry for them.

I came in with much anticipation but left with an unhappy experience. It makes so much difference going to a better saloon and being served by people who values customers despite of who you are. If they were to provide better service, i wouldnt have mind to sign up at least 5 sessions in future.
CITISPA, i will never ever use your services. Im so glad I did not buy any of the packages and never will i. Customer service talks about passion of serving customers from the heart and not just about earning their money!
