Easter Weekend had just zipped past. Easter Day now serves a total different meaning to Ray and myself.
There was a Pasar Malam at Tampines. Food is always a must-get whenever there is an event like this going on. Candy Floss, Kebab, Otak-Otak, Ramly Burgers (Thou I still prefer the authentic Road Side Stall Ramly Burger in JB) and not forgetting Putu Piring!! Gosh! Its soooo nice. It is like Tutu Kwey but the flour used its different from the Tutu Kwey and instead of the usual peanut and coconut filling they used gula Melaka. Gula Melaka tastes good by itself too.
This time, we decided to try smtg else. We bought ourselves one packet of durian! Not cheap u know. Since it came without the “Casing”, we figured out we will not be able to get rid of the durian smell after that. We improvised our way of eating durians. We used Glad Wrap to wrap our fingers up! Hhaha.. It worked and we did not have the smell on our fingers after that.

Just when I was about to blog about the bad day yesterday but my honey bunny made it all ok for me….
Here is the story…
Summary of the Bad
Work was hell yesterday. Was being accused by someone. And Sobz, Ling told me she dint manage to get my bag. Sounds so minor now tat im able to just list out in two sentences. Oh nevermind. I have forgotten what really happened already becuz of what the Good has happened.
The Good
After a hard’s day work, I’ve decided to go for my jog with Patrick. It is our weekly routine to go running every week and I did slack for 2 weeks I think haha. So ok back to the tracks yesterday. After which, my dear told me to meet him at Tampines Mall. I was like y not you come back home first. He just answered,”Just come.” Ok.. I submitted…
Soon after I met up with him and was going for dinner at Sakae Sushi. Yumz….. On our way there, I was puzzled on the paper bag that he was holding onto. So I questioned
S : What is it in the bag?
R : Some food for my guys.
S : Then how come it isnt NTUC Plastic Bag?
R : Ohh, cuz the plastic bag broke and some nice auntie gave him a paper bag.
S : hrmmm… oooooo…..kkkkkkkkkkk…
We reached Sakae and before anything else, Dear said, here, to make sure you enjoy your dinner even more…… my eyes open up wide immediately! It was the Coach Bag … FOR MEEE!!!
Prelude
Dear had collaborated with Ling to get that bag for me and purposely ask Ling to tell me that she dint get the bag at last (See under Summary of the Bad). But it was a Plot! Ahhaa. The reason y dear asked me to meet him straight at TM was because he went looking for a card which consist of the phrase from Romans 8:37-38 which depicts about love. The significance of this phrase is that we are supposed to memorize it for CG this Sunday but most importantly to remind us about the love we have for each other. Aweeee.. isnt that sweet? Ling mentioned in sms, say that now im happy like fairy .. hhaha.. found this description very cute.
I miss shopping in States!! As I’ve mentioned some things are really cheaper over there. Things like Guess, DKNY, Fossil, CK, Levis… etc. All these are atas brands in SG but its like “Giordano” over there. Last year in July when I was in States, I got myself some reli good stuffs from there. I was influenced by Yann Huei and Cass when they wanted me to get them things from Coach. When I was at the factory outlet in Vegas and Los Angeles, there isnt what they wanted there. However when I returned to San Fran, I went to their boutique and found it there. Upon all the browsing, I could not resist but pamper myself with one wristlet too and it was less than SGD100.00. Thou I knew I had burst my budget but what the heck!!
After I had to discard my Todd’s bag cuz it was damaged, I dint have another kind of such bags but now, I’ve gotten this wonderful surprise from Dear. I cant bear to use the bag now.. haha….

I’ve now converted into a Regular Movie Goer @ Tampines Mall only. Haha. I can even memorize the advertisements they air before the show starts.
The “Bad” Cheetah Pepsi Max Drink, Visa Beijing Olympics, Gadarate Drink blah blah blah.
Even the Kung Fu Panda advert to ask pple to shut their hps off and stop texting and that he will be watching us, dint sound farnie already. But it did its charm when I first saw this being aired.
Two movies which touched me were August Rush and The Leap Years.
There was not much campaign and thrillers for August Rush however, the little boy who acted in it is apparently in Spiderwick too! The reason y I found it touching was becuz of this boy whom believed in his faith in music and how music lead him to finding his parents. It is pretty magical but the arrangement of the soundtrack is simply amazing. Brings chill down my spine.
As for The Leap Years, I have to applaud Wong Li-Lin and the Cute guy for their acting skills. Touched by their love for each other. However, will that ever happen in real life? Well, have to just keep that as doubtful for the moment.
Nana asked me to watch Sky of Love. Apparently, its those teary teary movie. Then again, I wouldn’t want to watch a teary movie in the theatres, most prob would ruin my make up. I rather rent it as a DVD and have a good cry at home. Haha. When you watch it in theatres, you have a tendency to control those tears back but soon you start to near noses go wild and pple starting to take tissues out. Haha. Quite farnie ley.
This week is a short wkg week for me. Having to go for my check up on Wed Noon and Thurs which till now I have no idea what time my appt is. Then Yeah! Good Friday! Thanksgiving Day!
It’s the time of the Year again. To file for your income tax, have you done it yet? Haiz, must pay and pay again. Sianx.
Cant wait for Ling to come back from her trip! Had asked her to get me something for me. I just miss shopping in States. Imagine getting a DKNY jeans at USD39 or a Roxy Top st USD10. Fossil Watch at USD20. Victoria Secrets Lingerie! Gotta save up and visit the Eastern part next time round
