Apologies to all my readers, have not been updating my blog for some time.
Just came back from my States Trip and I’ve been so super caught up at work. Almost forgotten how to work. LOL.
The trip was awesome! I never regret on my decision to go ahead with my plans. This trip was something which I wanted to fulfill. I needed this break very much especially from all the drama and traumas that I have been through in the past few months.
I have learnt so much from this trip, experiencing the different culture we have in Singapore / Malaysia.
The cities that I have visited :-
San Francisco
Sacramento
Orland
Las Vegas
Orange County
Napa Valley
I can say that I overdid myself this time. Despite having only 2 weeks, I managed to squeeze in about 1 month activities within the 2 weeks I have. Seriously, if you were to ask me to write about my trip. It will be endless! I will do a few highlights :-
1) Las Vegas
Vegas is a MUST visit if you are in the western area. Thou it is scorching HOT there but it is indeed SIN CITY. “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”. That is the line! Dun worry, I was a good girl. I dint do anything farnie.
Did lotsa sightseeing. Went Grand Canyon / Lake Mead / Hoover Dam.
Watched Cirque Du Soliel “O”.
Drive solo in a left hand drive car. It was scary. Trust me, for once, I hated driving.
2) Orange County
Visited DisneyLand / Knotts Berry Farm
Skydive
Tons of Shopping
Visited New Port Beach to experience a beautiful sunset by Pacific Ocean.
3) Napa Valley
HOT AIR Ballooning!
Bought 4 bottles of wines from an exclusive winery
Writing it down isnt as interesting as compared to the real experience. This will be a trip I will never ever forget! Although I traveled alone for more than 16,000 miles, somewhat I did still hope that I did not go alone.
After this trip, I am somewhat a changed person. Learning to appreciate and be thankful for wad I have. Indeed the Lord took good care of me while I was having fun.
The total damage of this trip was around 5.5k. *Sweat* Now back to square one again. Sigh
Guess I have to recuperate for a few years before I do another major trip again. For sure, I will revisit States if I get the chance again.
